2007 photo of the Carnegie Library on Lister Drive. Since late 2006 this stunning and great building has stood neglected, and in late 2008 it has lost a lot of its slate roof so the damage inside must be terrible. Although not marked down for demolition I fear we will lose this building in time. With Liverpool proud of being the Capital city of Culture, it is shocking and shameful to see this historic Library neglected
